Jackie is the Managing Partner at Umsizi LLP, and has considerable experience in a broad range of corporate, commercial and family matters from her close to 25 years’ practice.

A Chartered Arbitrator, Jackie serves as Non-Executive Director on various Boards, notably as the second chairperson of the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA) and Non-Executive Director at the Strathmore Dispute Resolution Centre (SDRC). She has played a critical role in the development of a National Policy on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Kenya, and is a regular speaker on matters arbitration, mediation and corporate governance.

Jackie is recognised in the Legal 500 Arbitration Power List (Africa) and Leaders in Law (Corporate Law, Kenya) global awards, and has contributed to various publications including the International and Comparative Legal Guide’s annual publication on Litigation and ADR.
